Shane Mauss is a household name in the world of stand-up. Fresh from a third appearance on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien,” the La Crosse WI native is a TV regular. Since winning “Best Stand-Up Comic” at HBO’s 2007 “U.S Comedy Arts Festival,” he has played to laugh-thirsty crowds on Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham,” Showtime’s “Comics Without Borders” and BBC’s “The World Stands Up” (twice). He has also appeared on The Playboy Channel’s “Night Calls." The comic’s new CD produced on Comedy Central Records hits shelves March 9, and his half-hour special “Comedy Central Presents: Shane Mauss” airs March 12.
