Rockcast 19: Ded

Thursday, Jul, 6 2017

DED is a metal / hard rock band from the Tempe / Phoenix, AZ area. The band's lead singer Joe Cotela and guitarist David Ludlow joined myself and Kaytie via phone to let us get inside their heads a bit. Their debut full length album Mis.an.Thrope will be out on July 21st and don't forget to check out the video for their song "Anti-Everything" which was directed by none other than Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst. (Hold the jokes he did a pretty amazing job.)

Indecent Exposure: Dorothy

She's hot, she can sing, she can play and she can write. What's not to like? You decide, watch the video and listen to the song. It's new music from Dorothy called "Down to the Bottom"

Rockcast 18 - Rockstar Deathmatch

Friday, Jun, 30 2017

Rylan is back with myself and Kaytie as we discuss 2 pretty major topics. Number one Kaytie had a twitter run in with Zoltan from Five Finger Death Punch after she posted a story about Ivan Moody quitting the band while on stage in The Netherlands.

Second: All of sudden the rockstar pissing match is back, this time between Chad Kroeger of Nickelback and Corey Taylor of Stone Sour & Slipknot. Turns out Chad thinks Stone Sour is Nickelback lite, and of course Corey didn't take kindly to this. You can read more about this story here.

Indecent Exposure: The Picturebooks

Thursday, Jun, 29 2017

I can't say this any better than what this article from Consequence of Sound said.

"If there’s something about The Picturebooks’ sound that has you thinking of dirty garages filled with motorcycles and stale beer, then you’re grasping the concept. The German duo of vocalist/guitarist Flynn Claus Grabke and drummer Philipp Mirtschink actually record in the same garage where they refurbish and repair choppers. It’s the same space in which they built their own percussion instruments and worked on their aggressive blues rock sound. You can think of it like their Fortress of Solitude, a place where their music is pure and their aesthetic feels at home."

Check out the video for the song "I Need that Ooh" and get ready to wanna get on a Harley and just rock out.

Indecent Exposure: Death From Above

Wednesday, Jun, 28 2017

The band Death From Above who you may remember as Death From Above 1979 (thankfully they dropped that,) just put out a new song. It's called "Freeze Me" and I'd say it's a tad more intense than some of their previous works. The video is pretty good as well. Take a listen and let us know if you're showing it some Razor love or Razor hate.
