NO MERCY: What Should Happen vs. What Will Happen

Jack Swagger vs. Baron Corbin

What I Want to Happen: Although, I miss Zeb Colter, who doesn't love America?! Hopefully, neither of them are handed a microphone and Swagger pulls off a quick win.

What I Think will Happen: Both superstars seem to be wallowing in the mid-card wayside. Being a newer talent out of NXT Baron will probably come off with the win.

Nikki Bella vs. Carmella

What I Want to Happen: The Bella shtick has always been 'hot twins.' Not that I was a fan before, but with only one Bella present, Nikki falls especially flat for me. Carmella's NXT relationship with Enzo and Big Cass is an instant over for me. I'd like to see Carmella win and for her heel turn to stay on the rise.

What I Think will Happen: After what most thought was a career ending injury, Nikki has returned. The WWE will most likely reward her hard work and dedication on the road to recovery with a 'W' this go around. SMACKDOWN

Becky Lynch (C) vs. Alexa Bliss

What I Want to Happen: The shallow women's roster has proven to be an obstacle resulting in the weak booking between these two. Alexa is nowhere near the caliber of wrestler deserving of a title shot. Becky will destroy Alexa and retain her much deserved title.

What I Think will Happen: Becky Lynch has been through the ringer on her way to the title. There is no way the WWE will roll the title over to a rookie. P.S. who thought it was a good idea to book two women's matches in a row?!!

Heath Slater & Rhyno (C) vs. The Usos

What I Want to Happen: The Usos recent heel turn has rekindled a dwindling fandom in me. What can I say, I'm a sucker for the heels?! I expect that Rhyno's presence in the WWE isn't a tenured one and losing the belts would make for an easy departure after a highlighted return.

What I Think will Happen: However, I don't think Rhyno's return has quite reached its peak. I expect him and Slater to defend the belts a few more times in their trademark odd couple fashion.

The Miz (C) vs. Dolph Ziggler

What I Want to Happen: Dolph Ziggler has put his career on the line. If he doesn't win this, a huge talent is being lost. I refuse to accept anything but an end to The Miz's reign as intercontinental champion.
What I Think will Happen: There has been a lot of talk about Dolph retiring from the limelight and focusing on behind the scenes work. The WWE has pushed Ziggler so many times to no avail. I worry this will truly be his demise and just another checkmark on Miz's 'awesome' card.

Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt

What I Want to Happen: As much as I enjoy drooling over Randy Orton a win is of little importance. Bray Wyatt is the new era's Undertaker. What a better way to start your reign than defeating the Apex Predator? The Wyatt family deserves a 'The New Day' style run on Smackdown.

What I Think will Happen: It is seemingly impossible for Bray to come up with a win. Even with a previously canceled pay-per-view match against Orton, Bray was forced to take a loss against part-timer Kane. They passed on the opportunity for Bray Wyatt a self proclaimed god to beat a demon (Kane). There seems little hope for Bray. Plus, two pay-per-view defeats in a row probably isn't in Orton's plans.

AJ Styles (C) vs. Dean Ambrose vs. John Cena

What I Want to Happen: I will always be team Ambrose, but they watered down his character so much that his reign as champion fell short. Ideally, Styles remains champion and we get to see the Lunatic Fringe rise to the times of stealing belts and taunting champions.

What I Think will Happen: I'm not prepared for John Cena to sit amongst the likes of Ric Flair. Cena is an incredible talent and has given above and beyond, but c'mon?! It's the Nature Boy! WOO! He should rest in infamy untouched. Whether it be today or rather a joint franchise pay-per-view, it seems inevitable Cena will be rewarded for his contributions to the WWE.
