Houston Open Air festival canceled due to hurricane aftermath
As Houston continues to recover from the damage left by Hurricane Harvey, the city's Houston Open Air music festival has been canceled.
"Due to unforeseen and ongoing circumstances as well as continuous relief efforts needed to help stabilize Houston and its surrounding areas, we are cancelling Houston Open Air," reads a statement from the festival. Ticket-holders will be refunded.
Avenged Sevenfold and Five Finger Death Punch were scheduled to headline Houston Open Air. The festival was also going to include sets from Prophets of Rage, Marilyn Manson, Stone Sour, Mastodon, Halestorm, Of Mice & Men, In This Moment, Starset and Beartooth.
