Asking Alexandria Reunites with Danny Worsnop

Tim Mosenfelder/Getty ImagesAsking Alexandria is reuniting with their founding frontman. Original vocalist Danny Worsnop will be joining the band for their forthcoming 10 Years in the Black tour, which begins October 25 in Seattle.

"Asking Alexandria is back to the way we started with the original f****** members," says guitarist Ben Bruce in a Facebook video. "The reason that we're all here today is because of the five guys that started this band...and those five guys are back in the room together again."

Worsnop left Asking Alexandria in January 2015, saying that he wanted "what's best for the band and at this point in time, that isn't me." He was replaced by Ukrainian singer Denis Stoff, who sang on the band's latest album, The Black.  It appeared that Stoff would continue as Asking Alexandria's frontman, but Bruce says that over the last few months, the vocalist broke off communication completely.

"We didn't kick Denis out of the band," Bruce says. "He just stopped talking to us."

Bruce assures that all the details of exactly what happened between Alexandria and Stoff will be revealed soon, but in the meantime, Worsnop will be fronting his old band again.

"Now, after almost two years, I shall be going on tour again with Asking Alexandria," Worsnop writes in his own statement. "We have spent the last week honing the show and the set to be the best it can be, and best it has ever been, and I hope y'all enjoy watching it as much as we have creating it."

As for Stoff, he hasn't given specifics about what happened, but he did tweet, "I left AA because I can't be in a touring band at this point of my life. There's no drama & I don't want to be a part of it."
