Korn Grabs 13th Top-10 Album with "The Serenity of Suffering"
The latest effort from Jonathan Davis and company debuts at number four on this week's chart, with a total of 57,000 equivalent album units, 55,000 of which were pure album sales.
Including The Serenity of Suffering, all of Korn's last 11 studio albums -- plus their 2004 Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 collection and their 2007 MTV Unplugged live album -- have reached the top 10 of the Billboard 200. They are now one of only seven rock bands to have at least 13 top-10 albums on the Billboard 200, along with The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Dave Matthews Band, Santana, Van Halen and Led Zeppelin.
Korn recently wrapped up a tour with Breaking Benjamin in support of The Serenity of Suffering. The band will team up with Limp Bizkit for a U.K. trek in December.
