Iron Maiden fans can prep for the band’s upcoming tour with a batch of new album reissues.
A dozen Maiden albums spanning the years 1990 – 2015 have been cut on 180-gram vinyl from the band’s remastered catalog. They’ll be reissued with the original artwork beginning with the May 19 release of four titles: No Prayer for the Dying, Fear of the Dark, The X Factor and Virtual XI.

The new Danzig album has a title.
Legendary metal rocker Glenn Danzig has announced his namesake’s band’s upcoming disc will be called Black Laden Crown. The album, due in mid-May, will be the band’s first disc of new material since 2010’s Deth Red Sabaoth.
Danzig will headline the Blackest of the Black festival taking place May26 & 27 in Silverado, California. As previously reported, the band is also planning a handful of summer shows to coincide with the 25th anniversary of their 1992 album, Danzig III: How the Gods Kill.

Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme is being sued for assault by an autograph seeker. According to Rolling Stone, the alleged incident took place after an Iggy Pop concert last April in Detroit. Homme toured with Pop in support of their recent join album Post Pop Depression.
Jason Leckrone, a schoolteacher and autograph collector, claims Homme verbally assaulted him and grabbed him “around the shoulder area” outside an after-party at the Museum of Contemporary Art.

Veteran Italian metal band Lacuna Coil have released a new video for “Blood, Tears, Dust,” a track from their 2016 album, Delirium.
Writing on the band's Facebook page, Lacuna Coil frontwoman Christina Scabbia says she’s a big fan of the new video. She enthuses, "I love how [the director] filmed this. The photography, the colors and the hints in the story are perfectly placed and it is the first time we are really 'acting.'"
