Green Day's world dominance will be recognized at the 2016 Europe Music Awards. The punk trio will be honored with the Global Icon Award at this year's ceremony.

The Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan has lost his legal case against TNA Wrestling. According to The Tennessean, Corgan's bid to take over the pro wrestling company was rejected on Monday by a Nashville judge.
Corgan's lawsuit states that he gave three loans to TNA this year. The final loan came with a clause that would give Corgan the voting rights of TNA chairwoman Dixie Carter if TNA became insolvent, effectively giving the musician control of the company.

Cage the Elephant has had a busy 2016, spending most of the year touring in support of their latest album, Tell Me I'm Pretty. If all goes according to plan, 2017 should be equally eventful for Matt Shultz and company.
Speaking to Fuse, Shultz says that Cage the Elephant "hopefully" will release a new album next year.
"We're gonna start demoing in December," he adds. "So [we'll] see how it goes."

Bring Me the Horizon will return to North America next year in a big way. The British rockers have announced a North American tour for 2017, dubbed the American Nightmare tour.
"In 2017, Bring Me the Horizon will invade North America," the band says in a teaser video for the tour. "Lock you doors. Bolt your windows."
The American Nightmare tour will kick off in March, but the exact dates for the trek have yet to be revealed.
Bring Me the Horizon is currently on a U.K. arena tour in continued support of their latest album, That's the Spirit.
Radiohead will return to the road next year for a run of U.K. and European dates in continued support of their latest album, A Moon Shaped Pool.
