The Background: Chevelle singer-guitarist Pete Loeffler admits that "Jars," the first single from their Top 10 album Sci-Fi Crimes, has something of an environmental theme. But he says it comes more from discussions (and disagreements) about the environment that he and bassist Dean Bernardini have had. Loeffler tells us, "I think that's what's great though, is that Dean and I are such great friends that we can disagree and yet still laugh about it and look at each other and say, 'You're weird.'" |
