July 12, 2010 Guitar Edge's Elliott Politte recently sat down with STONE SOUR's Corey Taylor (vocals), Josh Rand (guitar) and Jim Root (guitar) inside Nashville, Tennessee's Blackbird Studios for an in-depth interview about the band's new album, "Audio Secrecy"; the sorry state of the music industry; and the reason the group chose to work with producer Nick Raskulinecz (FOO FIGHTERS, ALICE IN CHAINS, DEFTONES) again on the new CD after initially announcing someone else. Part one of the chat can now be viewed below.
"Audio Secrecy" is scheduled for release on September 7 via Roadrunner Records. The follow-up to 2006's "Come What(ever) May" was recorded with Raskulinecz at Blackbird Studios in Nashville during the destructive storms and devastating floods that hit the historic heart of Music City.
