Jan. 8, 2013

In 1995 the supergroup Mad Season released their one and only album called 'Above.' The Band consisted of Layne Stayley (Alice in Chains) on vocals, Mike McCreedy (Pearl Jam) on guitar, John Baker Saunders (The Walkabouts) on bass, and Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees) on drums. On April 2nd Mad Season will be releasing a deluxe edition of 'Above' that will be a three disc set. It will include the original album along with previously unreleased tracks from Mad Season's unfinished second album with new lyrics and vocals from Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees.) It will also have a DVD featuring the last ever show performed by Mad Season.
