This week: Korn frontman Jonathan Davis, who recently collaborated with Skrillex and is currently working with his band on their tenth studio album.
FAVORITE SONG:
"'Love Will Tear Us Apart' by Joy Division. It's so beautiful and so fucking sad at the same time. As a kid it struck me how many different emotions a single song could evoke, and it changed my view of music forever."
FAVORITE ALBUM:
"The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails. It's an absolute masterpiece."
FAVORITE NEW ARTIST:
"Skrillex. We started writing with him this year -- I'm just a huge fan. He's incredibly talented and brings such a new and different element to music today. The stuff we've been doing together has been really exciting."
FAVORITE WEBSITE:
"Rotten.com. It's fucking disgusting!"
FAVORITE MOVIE:
"Dune. I'm a big David Lynch fan."
FAVORITE BOOK:
"One Second After by William R. Forstch. This is a crazy book. It's science fiction, but it provides a realistic look at what could happen to disable all electricity and power, and how the human race would subsequently fall apart. Really scary stuff. I highly recommend!"
FAVORITE STORE:
"Obscura. There's lots of weird, cool shit there."
FAVORITE PIECE OF CLOTHING:
"I have this grey custom-made sweater with a skull on it. I got one for my son and loved it, so I asked the store if they would make an adult version and they did. I have the only adult sweater of this design in the world."
FAVORITE PET:
"I used to have 30 different species of tarantulas, as well as two Australian scorpions that are considered the deadliest in the world. If stung by one, a person would die in 30 minutes. But when I had kids I had to get rid of them, of course. Those were intense!"
FAVORITE FOOD:
"Japanese. Nobu in Malibu is my favorite place to eat."
FAVORITE DRUG:
"Crystal Methamphetamine. But that was back in the day."
FAVORITE CELEBRITY:
"Crispin Glover. Is he a celebrity? He's an awesome actor."
FAVORITE GADGET:
"I heard there's a new device in Europe that allows you to interfere with someone's cell phone and jam it. So if you're in a restaurant and some asshole is talking on their phone, you can jam their phone. I need one of those!"
FAVORITE KEEPSAKE:
"My kids' umbilical cords. I keep them in a jar at home."
FAVORITE ESSENTIAL ITEM FOR TOURING:
"My laptop. It's my studio and has everything on there."
FAVORITE PLACE TO ESCAPE:
"Home. When you live on the road, going home is a place to escape and just be with your family to unwind."
FAVORITE PICK-UP LINE:
"Fuck me, I'm famous!"
FAVORITE JOKE:
"Any 'Yo Mama' joke I'm good with."

"The female gluteus maximus. Commonly referred to as a 'booty' or 'ass.'"

"'Daddy will be right back.' It's not my favorite, but it's the one I end up telling my kids a lot because of my crazy schedule!"
